West Indies swings at ICC Champions Trophy on DIRECTV

The 2013 edition of the one-day competition will be the last in this format as the Champions Trophy is due to be replaced by the ICC World Test Championship in 2017.

Host team, England, is favoured to lift the crown on home soil but defending champion and bitter rival, Australia, might have something to say about that.

West Indies prevailed the last time England staged this competition in 2004 with Trinidad and Tobago batting legend Brian Lara at the helm. And Lara’s compatriot Dwayne Bravo is the West Indies captain now and the energetic all-rounder will do his utmost to emulate him and ensure that the regional is still in the hunt come the final day on 23 June 2013.

DIRECTV viewers will have the chance to follow the action live.
