Former National Under-20 Team midfielder Shaqkeem Joseph opened the scoring for Sando in the 32nd minute while striker Trevin Caesar added an insurance item in the 70th minute.
Joseph has nine goals this season, which makes him joint top of the scoring charts alongside La Horquetta Rangers captain and midfielder Jamal Creighton. At present, Sando are seventh in the Pro League’s 11-team standings while the ‘Couva Sharks’ are ninth.
Pro League action continues tomorrow when Rangers host Police FC from 7pm in Phase 2, La Horquetta while Defence Force travel to Couva again on Wednesday evening to face eighth placed San Juan Jabloteh from 6pm in the first game of a double header.
