TTSL round-up: QPCC lead cut in Bethel, Prisons edge PVDMU and Police spank RSSR

QPCC FC’s lead atop to Trinidad and Tobago Super League (TTSL) standings was cut from five points to just three this weekend, after the “Parkites” were forced to settle for a draw away to Bethel United in Tobago.

Bethel were second bottom in the standings at kick off but their poor form was inconsequential, as a Tee Jay Cadiz double put the hosts two goals clear within the first 20 minutes.

QPCC now have 20 points and are followed closely by Cunupia FC (17 points), Matura ReUnited (16 points), FC Santa Rosa (15 points) and defending champions Guaya United (15 points).

Prisons FC put themselves into the top half of the table too, as an 89th minute winner by winger Ricardo Alleyne help the servicemen edged Petit Valley Diego Martin United (PVDMU) 3-2 at the YTC ground in Arouca. The result pushed Prisons to sixth with 13 points.
