Trinidad and Tobago were partnered with Costa Rica, Curaçao, Haiti, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic tonight in Group A, as Concacaf held its official draw for the 2026/27 Concacaf Nations League competition.
The Soca Warriors are in League A, which is the top rank of the confederation’s three tier set-up.

The ranking of the teams in Group A of League A are as follows (Concacaf/ Fifa ranking): Costa Rica (5/ 51), Haiti (8/ 88), T&T (10/ 102), Curaçao (11/ 82), Nicaragua (15/131), and Dominican Republic (18/ 144).
Honduras, Jamaica, Guatemala, Suriname, Martinique and El Salvador are in Group B of League A.
The top two nations in each group advance to the knockout stage, where they join the seeded quartet of Mexico, the United States, Canada and Panama. However, the bottom two teams from each group will be relegated to League B.

Coach Derek King’s team will play only four games and, might face just three of their five potential opponents—due to the tournament format.
The schedule will be revealed at an unspecified date by Concacaf.
In the 2024/25 edition, the Trinidad and Tobago team, led by King, faced Cuba twice along Honduras and French Guiana, but avoided Jamaica and Nicaragua. The Warriors finished fourth and avoided relegation thanks to a home win over Cuba in their final match.
The two-island republic fared much better in the 2023/24 competition, under coach Angus Eve, when they were second in Group A after wins over El Salvador and Guatemala and a win and a draw against Curaçao.
At a minimum, King would be expected to avoid relegation from League A.
