Subway to Glory: What was your most memorable SSFL game this season, so far?

We are nearing the last leg of the 2026 Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL) Sportt Premiership Division, and there have been some compelling storylines already.

Five teams are still in the hunt for the title, while nine schools are fighting to avoid relegation. But which game stood for you the most this season—and why?

This is Question Four in our Subway challenge to Wired868 readers, and there is a $100 gift certificate in it for you.

Here is how to take part: give us a response between 80 and 300 words on our sport questions; feel free to think outside of the box; be fresh! The top answers will be shortlisted by Wired868, with the winner selected at random. There will be one winner per question.

You can justify your response using whichever metric you choose—but you have to explain your choice. So was it a clash of two heavyweights? Or maybe a giant slaying? Or a relegation scrap?

Let us know which game really stood for you so far this season. The deadline for submissions is 8pm on Wednesday 28 October, and the winner will be announced on Thursday 29 October.
