TTSL 19 round-up: Big triumphs for UTT and Prisons while Giants and Matura also prevail

San Fernando Giants and UTT FC picked up where they left off at the Ascension Invitational Tournament with opening day wins in the 2019 Terminix Trinidad and Tobago Super League (TTSL) competition this weekend.

Giants, who copped the Ascension Division Two title, held off Police FC 2-1 at the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium Training Field ground this afternoon while UTT whipped Petit Valley/Diego Martin United 5-1 in O’Meara. There was a comprehensive win too for Prisons FC who trounced Bethel United 4-0 in Arouca while Matura ReUnited edged QPCC FC 2-1 in Matura.

At the Arima Velodrome, FC Santa Rosa were awarded three points and as many goals after RSSR FC allegedly failed to travel with player identification cards while another fixture between Erin FC and Club Sando was rescheduled. Guaya United were on a bye this weekend.
