Pro League scores: Leach gets late equaliser as ten-man Police hold St Ann’s Rangers

Teenaged attacker Joshua Leach came off the bench to secure a point for Police FC this afternoon as they clawed their way back to secure a point against MIC-IT St Ann’s Rangers, despite being a goal down and a man short at the Larry Gomes Stadium in Malabar.

The final score read 1-1.

Xai-Pierre De Four put Rangers ahead in the 32nd minute and, four minutes later, things got even worse for the “Lawmen” as defender Jasimar Ashers was shown a straight red card.

However, a poor misjudgment from Rangers defender Kareem Eastman gave Police a way back into the match as goalkeeper Cleon John was able to deny opposing striker Jameel Perry’s initial attempt but was powerless to stop Leach from slotting home the rebound.

Pro League action continues on Tuesday at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva where Defence Force and North East Stars will do battle from 6pm while Morvant Caledonia United and San Juan Jabloteh clash from 8pm at the same venue.
