The following press statement on the passing of renowned Trinidad and Tobago football fan and flagman Joey “Posh” Richardson was submitted to Wired868 by the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA):
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Joey “Posh” Richardson the flagman—a true patriot whose unwavering dedication to our national teams and athletes was unmatched.
Posh was more than just a supporter; he was a symbol of the passion and pride that unites us all.
His presence at our matches, both at home and abroad, brought inspiration and joy to everyone around him.

Our hearts go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
Posh’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be dearly missed.
Rest in peace, Posh. Your spirit will always wave high like the flag you so proudly carried.
