TTFF names Sheldon Phillips as general secretary

Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation (TTFF) president Raymond Tim Kee has named United States-based administrator Sheldon Phillips as his new general secretary.

The 47-year-old Phillip, who is the son of former TTFF technical director and stand-out goalkeeper Lincoln “Tiger” Phillips, was introduced to the TTFF staff today as the replacement for Richard Groden. Groden quit his post last week.

“Together with Mr. Tim Kee and the TTFF, I will do everything in my power and ability to help lead this organization with grace and dignity,” Phillips told the TTFF Media, “never forgetting our role and obligation to serve as stewards of a game we cherish; for a nation we love.

“Our organization will be zealous in our activism and advocacy of all things football-related in Trinidad and Tobago because we are keenly aware of the power of the game and how it shapes lives both on and off the field of play.”
