North East Stars striker and Pro League joint top scorer Trevin Caesar was selected as the Wendy’s Player of the Month for March while Central FC coach Terry Fenwick was the Blue Waters’ Coach of the Month for the third time this season. The award is selected by votes taken from journalists and match commissioners.

Caesar, who turns 25 this month, credited Stars coach Angus Eve and his teammates for his award. And, although he hopes to move abroad before the end of the year, he is looking forward to more individual awards as well.
“It’s obviously a great feeling to win this award,” Caesar told the Pro League website, “but I think it’s going to be the first of many once I’m still in the league.”
Caesar and Fenwick will meet again from 6 pm today when Stars tackle Central in the first semifinal of the Lucozade Sport Goal Shield tournament at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva.
Defending champion club, DIRECTV W Connection, and Point Fortin Civic will square off in the second semifinal from 8 pm at the same venue.
