Trinidad and Tobago Men’s National Senior Team head coach Angus Eve will keep his options open until the last minute, as he announced a 40-man provisional squad for Concacaf Nations League A assignments against Curaçao and El Salvador.

The Soca Warriors host Curaçao at the Hasely Crawford Stadium from 6pm on Thursday 7 September while they are away to El Salvador on 10 September.

Eve named 24 overseas-based players on his long-list including star AEK Athens attacker Levi Garcia, who is nursing an injury at present and his younger brother and midfielder Judah Garcia.

There were also four players each from Trinidad and Tobago Premier Football League (TTPFL) champions Defence Force and runners-up AC Port of Spain, and five from third placed outfit Club Sando.

Defence Force and AC POS are still active in the 2023 Concacaf Caribbean Cup competition and would hope the regional competition offers a way back into the squad for their standouts.

Defender Justin “Shiggy” Garcia and attacker Reon Moore both shone for Defence Force this season while the AC POS duo of midfielder Duane Muckette and attacker Tyrone Charles were among the call-ups.

Defence Force midfielder Kaihim Thomas and AC POS maestro Che Benny are not in contention to play in this match window, though.
