Friday April 8

(United States MLS)

Philadelphia Union vs Kevin Molino’s Orlando City, 7 pm.

Fresh off his first MLS goal on Sunday, the “Soca Warriors” playmaker will be hoping for more slick build-up play with Brazilian maestro Ricardo Kaká as Orlando try to continue their unbeaten start to the MLS season.

Who knows, we may be in for some more “champion” dancing as well.

Bucheon 1995 vs Carlyle Mitchell’s Seoul E-Land FC, 3 am.

(I-League India)

Cornell Glen’s Mohun Bagan vs Shivajians, 9.35 am.

With only two games left in their I-League season, Glen’s Mohun Bagan will be looking to end their three game winless skid when they face the rejuvenated Shivajians outfit.

Mohun Bagan head the standings on goal difference—although second place Bengaluru have a game in hand—and will need to finish strongly if they want to retain their I-League title.

Sunday April 10

Heerenveen vs Levi Garcia’s AZ Alkmaar, 6.30 am.

The 18 year old AZ winger started his team’s last home game against PSV like a house on fire. But his dazzling start on the left flank was eventually quelled as second place PSV ran out 4-2 winners.

Garcia will hope for another start and an improved result when his team travels to 12th place Heerenveen.

Densil Theobald’s Sporting Clube de Goa vs Shillong Lajong FC, 7 am.

Kenwyne Jones’ Al Jazira vs Al Ahli, 10 am.

After being booted out of the AFC Champions League by Al Hilal on Wednesday, the “Soca Warriors” skipper will hope to lead his team to a better showing against Arabian Gulf League leaders, Al Ahli, as his team returns to league action. Al Jazira currently sit seventh in the 14-team table.

Sheldon Bateau’s Krylya Sovetov vs Lokomotiv Moscow, 11 am.

After playing a cameo role of his own in Sovetov’s win over FC Mordovia, the sturdy centre-back will hope to play a more significant role, as his team tackles third place Lokomotiv, who are just three points away from the summit of the Russian League.
