Rangers striker joins Pro League hattrick club

New St Ann’s Rangers striker Marvin Lee scored the tenth hattrick of the 2012/13 Digicel Pro League season and the fifth treble of the year on Wednesday evening but it was only good enough for a solitary point as Rangers and Police played to a 3-3 draw in a rescheduled fixture at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva.

Kareem Perry replied with one item for Police while winger Noel Williams scored twice and missed the chance for a hattrick when he wasted a late penalty kick. (See Pro League report here)

Lee joined a list of hattrick heroes that comprises T&TEC FC’s Bevon Bass, Defence Force midfielder Josimar Belgrave, the Neal & Massy Caledonia AIA duo of Ataullah Guerra and Keyon Edwards, the DIRECTV W Connection pair of Shahdon Winchester and Joevin Jones and North East Stars striker Cornell Glen.
