Subway to Glory: Who will dodge relegation? Trinity (Moka), of course!

“[…] San Juan North Secondary are away to Fatima College, not likely to get points here. Queen’s Royal College (QRC) are away to Hillview College, not likely to get points here. Trinity Moka away to Trinity College East, could possibly get 3 points here…”

Which from Queen’s Royal College, San Juan North Secondary, St Augustine Secondary and Trinity College (Moka) are most likely to avoid relegation from the SSFL Premiership Division? Our fifth Subway to Glory winner, Louis Carrington, believes it will be Trinity College (Moka)—and his reasoning got him a $100 Subway voucher:

Trinity College (Moka) player Jayden Redhead (centre) is congratulated by teammates for his goal against Hillview College during SSFL Premiership action at El Dorado Road on 21 October 2026.
Trinity lost that contest 6-2, but reader Louis Carrington believes the boys from Moka can still survive relegation.

Looking at the remaining rounds of games and the match ups, the following are the likely results based on form:

Round 16: San Juan North Secondary are away to Fatima College, not likely to get points here. Queen’s Royal College (QRC) are away to Hillview College, not likely to get points here. Trinity Moka are away to Trinity College East, could possibly get 3 points here.

Malick Secondary are away to Arima North Secondary, a draw is a likely result (1pt). St Augustine Secondary are away to Speyside Secondary, not expected to get points here. Mucurapo West are on a bye.

Round 17: QRC away to Arima North, so a draw is the best possible result for QRC (1pt). Trinity Moka Away to Mucurapo West could possibly get 3pts, or worst case at least a draw. St Augustine at home to Fatima, not expected to get points here.

Trinity East are at home to Signal Hill Secondary, not expected to get points here. San Juan North are away to St Mary’s College, not expected to get points here. Malick are away to Speyside, a draw is the likely result here (1pt).

In conclusion, if the form book and results are in accordance with what has happened thus far in the season: Trinity Moka are the most likely to survive of the four mentioned teams.
