Our fourth Subway to Glory winner, Dev Ramjit, has cheered his beloved Presentation College (San Fernando) on to seven wins already this season, but it’s a 2-2 draw with leaders St Mary’s College that impressed him most—and his retelling of that result cops a $100 Subway voucher:
The game that is my personal favourite of 2026, so far, is ‘Pres Lions’ vs CIC.
It’s no secret anywhere that I am a Pres fan, so naturally my thoughts would lean towards there.
CIC are on an absolute rampage this season, and their players are reaping all the benefits of having one of the most formidable coaching teams on the ground today.

I’ll stop myself from my usual campaign about the Shawn Cooper issue and Pres at this point, and instead give massive kudos to the CIC coaches. They have really gotten through to their players this year.
But my Pres Lions, on the day they were facing the top of the table team, showed a resilience and unity that made my pride almost come through my pores.
They did not give up for a single second. And after going down twice, they bared their fangs to signal to the table leaders that any win they thought they were going to get, would have to be dragged out of the Lions’ den.
Aaron Clement and a 15-year-old Mikhai Nedd turned some CIC smiles wrong-side that day.
A 2-2 draw was the final result. Maybe not the best for movements on the table, but it settled in the hearts and minds of Pres fans one thing: we are young, but we could do this. Stay tuned.
