High time for collective responsibility

Michael Suedathsingh was arrested by Chaguanas police after 1,450 grammes of marijuana was allegedly found in his home.

Seudathsingh, a Rastafarian, claimed he used the drugs for religious purposes and was jailed for two years with hard labour.

His elder brother, Mitra Seudathsingh, who lives at the same residence, will reappear in the Chaguanas Magistrate’s Court on October 23 where he must conclusively prove ignorance of his brother’s habit.

Presumably, the People’s Partnership government, which led by two Senior Counsels in Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar and Attorney General Anand Ramlogan, is not unfamiliar with this type of judicial responsibility.

Wired868 cannot confirm that DPP Roger Gaspard is repeatedly checking his cell phone for missed calls from either PP bigwig.
