CPL24: Klaasen ruled out; Kings draft Siefert—plus roster tweaks

South Africa batsman Heinrich Klaasen has been ruled out of the 2024 Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL) due to a family emergency, according to a press statement by the CPL today.

Klaasen, who helped the Proteas to second place at the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup, was due to represent the Saint Lucia Kings. His position now goes to former Trinbago Knight Riders and New Zealander Tim Seifert.
