The NLCL U19 Community Cup starts its business end this weekend with eight teams kicking off the knockout phase of the competition at the Larry Gomes and Mannie Ramjohn Stadia.

Ball Blasters YA, who represent Tobago, face southern outfit Made In La Brea from 1pm at the same venue.
And, tomorrow afternoon, favourites QPCC – City FC face Central Soccer World from 4pm in a doubleheader at the Larry Gomes Stadium in Malabar, after Point Fortin Youth Academy tackle Athletic International Academy (AIA) from 2pm.
City FC scored a remarkable 53 goals in their 12 outings so far, led by Men’s National Under-16 playmaker and Fatima College student Caden Trestrail, who has a tournament high 14 goals.
Point Fortin YA will not feel overawed, particularly if they have St Benedict’s College flanker Jeremiah Niles in their line-up. And Made In La Brea and Central Soccer World are not short of firepower either with the likes of Ruben Phillip and Kelon Williams respectively.

Gasparillo Youths will look to Jerrell Griffith for their goals while SMS are powered by Trinity College East attacker Khaleem Prince.
St Anthony’s College flanker Theo Crovador will be at the heart of anything that AIA cook up, with Ball Blasters relying on steady midfield anchor Jaden Richardson to manage their tempo.
Admission for the matches is $30 while children under-12 are free.
