Pro League scores: Connection defeat Sando to stay perfect; Central clobber Civic

W Connection maintained their perfect start to the 2017 Pro League season last night as they downed Club Sando 3-1 in an Ato Boldon Stadium double header.

A double from winger Neil Benjamin Jr and a solitary item from Suriname attacker Dimitri Apai saw the “Savonetta Boys” hold off Sando for their third successive win. Former San Juan Jabloteh midfielder Keyon Edwards got Sando’s lone item.

It was a blowout in the other Couva affair as Sean De Silva, Johan Peltier, Taryk Sampson, Carlos Edwards and Jason Marcano all chipped in a goal apiece as defending champions Central FC clobbered Point Fortin Civic 5-0.

Pro League action continues today with Police FC and St Ann’s Rangers squaring off from 4pm at the Larry Gomes Stadium in Malabar.
