Kenwyne ruled out Central’s C/League opener, DJW faces fresh conflict of interest scenarios

Trinidad and Tobago National Senior Team captain Kenwyne Jones will not feature in Central FC’s opening 2016/17 CONCACAF Champions League outing against United States Major League Soccer (MLS) team Vancouver Whitecaps from 8pm tomorrow at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva.

Last month, Jones signed for new MLS franchise, Atlanta United FC, and, almost immediately, agreed a five-month loan deal with Central, which is meant to keep the former England Premier League forward active until Atlanta officially begin their football operations in January 2017.

The “Couva Sharks” were unable to get Jones’ International Transfer Certificate in time for their first outing of the season.

However, Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) president David John-Williams’ potential role in Jones’ proposed move and Central’s football business this season has already caused a stir in local football circles.

John-Williams is the founder and owner of Central’s bitter rivals, DIRECTV W Connection, who started their own Champions League campaign on Wednesday night against Mexico’s Pumas UNAM from 8pm in Couva.

And, although John-Williams promised to distance himself from the club if elected as TTFA president, Wired868 proved that—months later—he remained involved in business matters at the club.

Whether John-Williams has already used his portfolio as TTFA president to impact more directly on Connection’s fortunes—and Central’s misfortunes—is debatable. But there already exists four examples of potential conflicts of interest for the football administrator.

Jones’ loan move to Central might be one.

The 31 year old forward and Soca Warriors captain represented Connection before he signed with England Premier League club, Southampton, in 2004. But the relationship between Jones and John-Williams has been strained since—allegedly due, at least initially, to an unpaid bonus—and the two parties clashed within a month of the TTFA election, as the Warriors threatened to strike over the new football executives’ response to their unpaid match fees.

Last Wednesday, CONCACAF official Patrick Chalmeta wrote Central operations director Kevin Harrison to caution the club against using Jones due to information passed on to the governing body.

“We have been made aware of the following and wanted to clarify the situation with you. Central FC has put player Kenwyne Jones on its 30-man-roster, yet it has been noted by media reports that there is currently no contractual agreement nor that he is still tied to Central FC.

“Atlanta United, which owns his contract, apparently has not made any public announcement about a loan (at least not on its website or Twitter)…

“Can you please verify the specifics of this situation and give us an up to date on how its being handled? Moreover, due to the unique situation we require a Transfer or Loan Certificate to confirm his participation in our tournament.”

The email was copied to John-Williams’ business address, which he uses to represent both club and country. Chalmeta further noted that the TTFA must ratify Jones’ transfer for it to be properly concluded.

Arguably, Central, who won the Pro League and Caribbean Cup for the past two successive seasons, would have been better placed to handle international transfers if they were invited to a FIFA TMS (Transfer Matching System) workshop in Costa Rica, just over a month ago.

John-Williams’ daughter and Connection CEO, Renee John-Williams, was the sole Trinidad and Tobago club representative selected to attend alongside TTFA employee and women’s football president, Sharon O’Brien.

The TTFA president, John-Williams, and vice-president Joanne Salazar could not explain why the football body issued a press release that revealed O’ Brien’s attendance but not his daughter’s. And their claim that Renee’s attendance was personally requested by CONCACAF rather than instigated by the local football body proved false.

O’ Brien told Wired868 that she recommended that her boss’ daughter should accompany her to Costa Rica—rather than a Pro League official who could relay the information from the workshop to all 10 member clubs.

Incidentally, Central will need O’ Brien to ratify Jones’ proposed return to the Pro League where he will suit up against her employer’s rival club.

Renee’s Costa Rica trip was not the last time since her father’s appointment that Connection appeared to received preferential treatment from the relevant governing bodies. And that brings us to the third potential conflict of interest.

Central and Connection each selected a home venue for their Champions League matches. Central, the reigning two-time Pro League and Caribbean champs, opted for the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain while Connection, the Pro league’s fourth placed team, chose the Ato Boldon Venue.

CONCACAF, on the apparent recommendation of the TTFA, decided to let Connection have its way for both rounds of matches and scheduled all four Champions League games will play in Couva.

The venue switch was attributed to a recommendation from the Hasely Crawford Stadium’s facility manager, although, due to John-Williams’ dual role, the decision did raise concerns.

The TTFA president did not respond to Wired868’s queries on the venue shift.

It is the first time that Couva hosted Champions League matches in four years. And, on the last occasion, the Hasely Crawford Stadium’s dressing rooms were being repaired, which saw W Connection and Caledonia AIA have their 2012-13 Champions League games scheduled in Couva with a solitary match in Marabella.

Central managing director Brent Sancho and Harrison might not want to risk grumbling too loudly about perceived favouritism though, which leads us to the fourth potential conflict of interest.

Sancho and Harrison were both forwarded to the TTFA board, last September, by former general secretary Sheldon Phillips for further investigation regarding their conduct over: the transfers of Central FC forward Rundell Winchester, the signing of then 16-year-old winger Levi Garcia, and the alleged misappropriation of CONCACAF funds and non-payment of bonuses to Central players.

If found guilty of improper conduct, Sancho, the former Sport Minister, and Harrison can face a variety of disciplinary measures, which range from warnings to a ban from all football stadia and taking part in any football-related activities.

However, the promised probe has floundered under the next TTFA board of directors, chaired by John-Williams, which is yet to appoint a disciplinary committee to resume investigations.

It leaves the Central hierarchy, already cash-strapped since the departure of sponsors SIS and Bankers Insurance, in a precarious position for the upcoming season.

The Sharks do welcome Warriors goalkeeper Jan-Michael Williams back to their first team, after a lengthy injury enforced lay off, while his international teammate Keron “Ball Pest” Cummings is also in tomorrow’s match day squad.

Cummings, who last represented North East Stars, has not played competitive football since he was shot in his leg on 27 December 2015 outside of his Diego Martin home. Admission to tomorrow’s contest is TT$60.

Other notable players in Central’s squad to face Vancouver include captain Leston Paul, playmaker Sean De Silva, striker Marcus Joseph, winger Jason Marcano and attacker Kadeem Corbin while former Point Fortin Civic utility player Glenn Sutton and St Ann’s Rangers attacker Johan Peltier have both joined the roster.

  1. Just to clarify, Central could not apply for KJ’s ITC as the delay was between UAE and Atlanta. Although we had a signed loan agreement and contract, the ITC could not be applied for. So at this point, TTFA has not been involved in the transfer logistics. Central FC selected Hasely Crawford because we felt that there would be a better attendance and as all visiting teams and officials were based in town, logistically and financially HC would be better. The stadium was inspected and approved. Concacaf (quite rightly) wanted both games at the same venue for logistical reasons. One would think that Central, as the first team to play and as the Caribbean and Pro League champions for the last two years would receive preference. Concacaf decided,on advice received, that Ato would be selected. Judging by the attendances at both games, that decision has proved to be flawed.

  2. lasana he not interested in that he busy destroying young people”s lives with his petty greedy unethical ass

  3. Chabeth, you would have to go back more than three decades–possibly five or six–to encounter a president that tried to run football in this manner.
It is virtually unprecedented in modern time.
I know Savitri warned about it for instance. The truth is Raymond Tim Kee, Lennox Watson, Oliver Camps… None tried to run football like an executive president to the extent that the general secretary was practically irrelevant.
(Of course Camps was a proxy to Warner. But he was still the official president).
So I think everyone is a bit wiser now. And that is why the current president has managed to surprise even football people who have been here for the reign of Camps.

  4. Chabeth, before the election David John-Williams said he would get all the various TTFA committees up and running and would not interfere with them as they did their duties. And he would respect organization chart.
    That has not been fulfilled.

  5. No d noisy supporters on football and know football was in a very bad place when Jack left and only a united effort could get us back to a good place! I not on this petty shit same way when RTK step out of line i jumped on him same way i will jump on DJW or u if u all trying to mash up the thing. I will say it again sport saves lives to u or others it may be about articles money prestige to me its about lives! Good thing i got no job position or privilege from the ttfa under them both not even a free ticket! So all who making deals with d devil good for u i singing my super cat mi nah cry for no man in no three piece suit mi ah cry for d youth!!! Love it or hate it

  6. Why wasn’t the transfer certificate/conflict of interest raised as an issue during the campaign and election period.
Seems as if the only variable in that scenario that has changed is that ppl now have a problem with it.

  7. I notice too that certain noisy supporters of DJW were also very noisy supporters of Tim Kee. Like they like men with titles… They ent messing with no broke ni***s like me. Lol.
Anyway, good luck to Central in having the TTFA intercede on their behalf to have Kenwyne’s last UAE employer to release his ITC.
I’m sure Central would expect that to happen as smoothly as they would otherwise expect if the TTFA president was not also the owner of W Connection. 😉
In the meantime, the T&T national captain has to make do with a spot in the stands as we near two vital 2018 World Cup qualifying matches.

  8. To all wired readers who interested I d good of sports and not bacahnal i invite you to read d daily papers for the REAL story about kenwyne transfer d Guardian in particular

    • If you don’t like Wired868, you can leave eh Gordon Pierre. You aren’t a hostage.

    • Hahaha Lasana Liburd don’t take it personal!! I love wired d concept d vision but not what it is turning to but just how u does put ppl and organizations back on track as a sports lover i will stay and make sure the last sports reporter get back on track

    • Good luck pardners. Good luck. :-/

    • Different type of crew on this site partner…. if you imploring people to read a trini newspaper to get news you in worse shape that we thought… present your case and if you can prove what was stated in forum as inaccurate, apoligies will follow… other wise keep it moving

    • Lasana Liburd …you really good yes…lol

    • Gordon…is the Guardian you say to read …..I done with that one breds…NO COMMENT…

    • Lasana Liburd you holding people hostage on Wired…well well

    • Ian R Briggs the case done make as i said since yesterday kenwyne transfer clearance half way around d world. Lasana Liburd already knows that no apology will come tho he will just stick to d conflict of interest point!! And i don’t want any for that matter but i could tell my brother when he on sh*t and u try to make sense bc the truth don’t change

    • Gordon, let me ask you a few questions.
What local body has to ratify Kenwyne’s transfer certificate? Who heads that body? Which employee has specific control over the transfer process? What is her professional relationship with the head of the body that must ratify that decision? And what club does the head of that body own? And what is the relationship between that club and the club Kenwyne is trying to transfer to?
Now don’t rush eh Gordon. I don’t want you to get any wrong.
In fact, call yuh pardner and let him help you with the answers.
When you done with that, then Google “Conflict of interest”.
      Then check us back. 😉

    • yuh hitting hard Lasana…behave yuhself….

    • Lasana Liburd that conflict of interest was known before the ttfa elections and d stakeholders vote DJW that point is null and void u and ur team Ramdan and his boi Terry Fenwick should get over it and stop writing sh*t and let football breath bc from d story DJW stop central from playing in d Hasley u had to go back and change d kenwyne issue is shown to be Central fault of not applying for their clearance so stop talking about partner i on football

    • Then you should go back and read what David John-Williams said he would do to avoid that conflict of interest when people expressed concern about it Gordon Pierre.
You are going to have to keep up if you want to contribute here because people accustomed to real knowledge in these parts.
And please bring evidence of my collusion with anyone to get them elected as TTFA president. I think you will more easily find helpful stories towards DJW at that point in time.
But don’t let me dissuade you from trying.
The difference with you and me is I can prove my claims.

    • Watching you try to defend DJW with those weak explanations is like watching a toddler try to eat with a knife and fork.

    • Yea d evidence that DJW stop d central game playing in d Hasley right

    • Or he stop kenwyne from playing yesterday ent i realize u on real rubbish and anyone who is neutral and read d original story and the thread will realize ur whole sell have changed u wrote a half pick story stop trying to defend it was BS

    • You’re just trolling now gordon. The story is about conflicts of interest. It is even in the headlines. I’m having trouble believing you’re as slow as you’re pretending.
What else can I tell you? Go practice using a knife and fork.

    • Gordon, can’t believe you not concerned by conflict of interest when if memory serves me right, DJW said he would step away from running W Connection and let his daughter run the team.

    • Who Wants to be a Millionaire now?

    • Ian R Briggs after Kevin Harrison clarification still no apology coming bunch of hypocrites that y d country in the state it is!!

    • Google Conflict of interest and come back and post it Gordon Pierre. If it means something different to what I said it does then I will apologize.
      If not, you should apologize.
And you’re a school teacher too right?

    • Lasana Liburd i really done with this but i will try one last time! When d stakeholders of tt football choose d founder and owner of one of its proleague clubs as president potential conflict of interest immediately arises with all matters dealing with professional football not just stadium selection, not international player transfer everything to do with PROFESSIONAL football is potentially conflict of interest. When the last sports reporter chooses three or four issues to write on it means to say that d conflict of interest have come to a head in these areas because everything that occur in professional football that d ttfa president is involved in has d POTENTIAL for conflict of interest and should b written on. The situations that u have written on in ur have been proven to not have any interference by d ttfa president as confirmed by independent sources in this case Kevin Harrison and stadium management so stop flip flopping and concede that in ur haste to get out another anti DJW story that would act on d passion of ppl wanting to c the National skipper play ur erred

    • One: The conflict of interest issues WAS a concern even before the election and DJW was at pains to explain how he would avoid it. But he then failed to implement the measures he promised.
Two: The TTFA employer responsible for transfers is the same one who took the W Connection CEO to Costa Rica just over a month ago for a workshop. A fact which the TTFA concealed from the public via press release and then lied about on a national radio programme by claiming she was selected by CONCACAF.
Three: Harrison confirmed that Central wanted Hasely Crawford Stadium and he felt the club should get it by virtue of being champions. He said the Hasely Crawford Stadium was cleared to host the game but that the match was moved to Couva based on advice given to CONCACAF. He didn’t say by whom. But it wasn’t by the groundsman. If DJW or the TTFA gave that information to CONCACAF, then since DJW’s club benefits it is what you would call a Conflict of Interest.
Don’t take my word for it. Check a dictionary.
There has not been a word about a probe into Harrison and Sancho at Central since DJW came into power. Is it dead? Does he plan to start it? When.
The lack of a clear word on that can also give the impression that investigation could be used as a political football. And with Central and Connection being fierce rivals, it again creates the possibility of a conflict of interest.
I know school teachers charge big fees for lessons during the school holidays. I won’t reply for free Gordon Pierre

    • You claim to care for the youths. But not a word when people were talking about raising money for Dwight Quintero’s operation.
Which was another glaring example of DJW breaking his campaign promise.
      http://wired868.com/2016/03/24/ttfa-president-embroiled-in-connection-dispute-blamed-for-endangering-quinteros-career/

    • Lasana Liburd not every thing i do i publishes u should know that but i will stand up when i c blanton foul play that will not only hurt an individual but a whole community in this case footballers and football loving ppl

    • Yes. You only publish when you are defending people in power eh. That’s cool.

    • I only response in public to misallegations published in public!! Myself and DJW had a running battle over keron ballpest Cummings it was not public but when misinformation is constantly finding it’s way into d public domain someone has to stand up and say enough is enough u hurting not just RTK or DJW they are both millionaires u are hurting d sport football and the thousands of youths that it provides an Avenue to!! Whether through scholarships, professionally or simply taking them off d streets to occupy their time

    • David John-Williams wasn’t president when you had that “running battle”. You must love titles. Anyway, we have gone as far as we can go on this.

    • I will agree with we have gone as far as we can go on this!

  9. some people playing mad I go show them who really mad

  10. hahahahaha not me nah as I said before alyuh stay tuned nah, more stories on the way eh. Them really good yes.

  11. Where the Bacchanal man ? Mango where are you?

  12. Keston Julien leaves W Connection. He then goes on trial in Netherlands with help from David John-Williams’ good friend, Dion Sosa. If successful, he needs transfer clearance from TTFA which is run by Connection owner.
The person in charge of handling international transfers just took Connection CEO and TTFA presidents daughter to a workshop in Costa Rica.
So what can Julien expect if he gets the chance to play abroad?
Will he be treated to same as if say Tim Kee was in charge? Or Selby Browne?
If you don’t see potential for conflict of interest here Gordon, you might need a dictionary and a priest.

  13. hahahaha like meh friend Mr. Live Wire have your head really hot eh, wait until yuh read the upcoming stories about meh dictator president, yuh will bawl like ten tarzans eh. well inbox me the date of the city 7 tournament nah since yuh didn’t mention it eh,

  24. WHAT!!!! nah man, nah man, how can this be happening eh, and I done bet plenty of monies that bound not to score KJ will shine for Central eh, oh well this is what will always happen when alyuh choose a owner of a professional team to be the TTFA president which will always be a conflict in interest eh, and it seems that my dictator president surely have meh nephew Gordon Pierre in his pockets eh, and I don’t care what you say eh, I am the president of the football mash up squad until alyuh really stop the madness and really start doing the right things by our players, the beautiful game, and our sweet country eh. Alyuh really good yes.

  25. But Dominic was right too when he said the stadium hasn’t been closed for football eh. And the point stands that not enough is being done to protect his post as TTFA president from potential conflicts of interests.

  26. Brian Jordan to be honest i really didn’t check out all d perceived conflict of interest situations to come up with a conclusion bc this have obviously turned to a witch hunt and i am not interested in that. I only contributed bc i was personal informed about the HC field issue when having a personal discussion with d facilities manager! Ppl who have their agendas could defend or attack i not on that!!

    • K. But you’re asking Lasana to look both ways (which i agree with) and you seem to only want to look one way yourself. Not sure youre being fair when you categorize this discussion as a witchhunt. Once you look objectively, you’ll see glaring conflict of interest issues man..

    • Brian Jordan from ur responses u seem like a good solider but this is a coordinated attack not defend football or righteousness

    • The philosophy is: you’re either with us or against us. Not so Gordon?
Ever wondered why with all the resources and promises the CFU electorate said no?
If you can’t see where this road is taking us, I don’t know what else to say to you.

    • Lasana Liburd i really tired of d crabs in d barrel experience but bc u is my friend and brother for u i will go through it! Everyone knows there is a small island big island thing in d Caribbean football is no different so after ur hype control the monster dictator stories it was easy for Gordon Derrick to gather the small islanders vote d devil i know versus d devil i don’t!! Right it seems d plan is to destabilize d ttfa for an election to b call my thing is strong leadership and personality brought football to this position its strong leadership and personality that’s going to get us out

    • “strong leadership and personality brought football to this position its strong leadership and personality that’s going to get us out”
That, Gordon, is the definition of madness.
As for the thing about pushing for a new TTFA election, if the last one was illegitimate–and there were plenty complaints from DJW–then there should be one. If he thinks he is doing a good job then he shouldn’t be worried.
If the Caribbean islands were reading my stories then it is good that they had proper information before they voted.
As a friend, I will tell you it is always dangerous to think that all your setbacks is because other people don’t like you or don’t understand how awesome you are.
We must look at ourselves too and see what I am doing wrong that prompted this and that outcome. Consider that too. 😉

    • Lasana Liburd we could go around in circles would like a story on y its August d 2nd and still no news on SPORTT summer camps a project that’s so important to d communities

    • Sorry Gordon. Check the website and you will stories we are churning out every day. Point out to the story I can leave out for that one?
I have to make difficult decisions every day. If I had more information on it, I would have tried. But it is difficult. The Olympic Games is a big project at the moment.

  27. Lasana Liburd u and your destroy football crew will b amazed that no one is feeding me any info! As God is my witness on Thursday last at 830 pm when i attempted to enter the HC to help decorate d VIP lounge for the Flow youth league awards ceremony i ran into difficulty so i called Mr Blake being a former school mate and military man we spoke on a range of matters that’s how d field talk came up. Unlike alot of folks on this chat when i comment i comment for a place of knowledge and fact!! Dominic Lau i hoped Lasana response satisfies you after he did his due diligence which he should have done in d first place being d great reporter he is!

  28. I think we have to wait until which ever football president is feeding him information tells him what to say about the other stuff ??

  29. Keep going as well Gordon Pierre. Separate fact from fiction.
You have Renee John-Williams trip to Costa Rica for TMS workshop, the TTFA’s obvious role in Kenwyne Jones Jones transfer and the paused investigation into Brent Sancho and Kevin Harrison.
Do you see any potential conflicts of interest there?

  30. Gordon, the Hasely Crawford Stadium has not been closed to football. However the facility manager did recommend to the TTFA that the ground gets time to rehabilitate for the World Cup qualifiers due to the beating it got during the NAAA Championships.
Like Dominic Lau said, it continues to host football games. But the TTFA did have justification in requesting the move.
The thing is the TTFA president makes the call to CONCACAF and the outcome is a direct benefit to his club. So I think the way it is handled leaves the potential for a conflict of interest as I said.

  31. Rested Gordon Pierre ? So please explain why CIC Old boys played there this weekend gone and the weekend before that the Syrian Lebanese community hosted a family day there? Maybe instead of asking Lasana Liburd to check the facts, you should check them yourself first

  32. Was just going to ask Gordon Pierre how he felt about the many conflict of interest issues..

    • Brian Jordan i have been informed that initially Central did not apply for a clearance for Kenwyne they think is CONCACAF minor league again this story is full with half truths lies and innuendos!! Lasana Liburd in his haste to get out another bad story on DJW
Did not do his due diligence d clearance to play is half way around the world as we speak!! Just like this half pick duck of a story

    • K. By chance, where are you getting your information? Care to share?

    • Gordon, I really have to ask if you are being thick now. Did you even read the story Gordon?
You should ask DJW or whoever is giving you information to explain it to you so you don’t sound the way you are now.
Let me try to help again.
Kenwyne must be ratified by the TTFA to be allowed to transfer to Central. The TTFA is run by the owner of a rival club. The person in charge of ratifying transfers just took a trip with the TTFA president’s daughter and the CEO of the same rival club.
We are getting to a point where it hard to believe whether you are pretending to be incapable of understanding simple stuff. Or if you are for real.

    • Made some calls!! These stories bother me u know football and sports is my heart and soul it saved my life!! Don’t think for one second i will not run into DJW if i felt he was destroying football Lasana Liburd knows this but i feel we need to give d man a fair chance to save a very ugly situation and not put hindrances in his part every step of d way

    • Lasana Liburd they football ppl not me who picked DJW knowing all that!! The president daughter business i not getting into that d kenwyne story d field thing i know about that!! And the story u painting shows malice!! Ray Charles could c that it’s no longer about defending right!! Before d election u should have bring ur concerns to d stakeholders and let them decide they did if d ttfa president have to get transfer info on all players so b it its d procedure man!! As i say a half pick duck of a story!!! Stupz let football breath man get rid of d petty negativity tell big men they on sh*t and stop promoting it

    • Yes Gordon. Only you and DJW know what is right for football eh?
I won’t let anyone breath who is violating the constitution or where there is a whiff of injustice.
So you will have to live with it.

    • Brian Jordan i hope u read the whole thread now that Kevin Harrison has come on to clarify d kenwyne issue and it is as i said

    • Still reading conflict of interest issues between the lines man and that’s after reading it a couple times.

    • Yes Brian Jordan when as i said before TT football stakeholders elected d founder and owner of a proleague club as ttfa president conflict of interest will always be between d lines as d old calypso says we like it so! But in d mean time if things have not come to a head allow d football to breathe and as d young people does say easy me up nah!!

    • I think we can wish someone well and point out how they might be able to improve, as well as, deficiencies and flaws. Our eyes are on DJW. Hope he gets to his manifesto promises and lays off petty politics. Bless

    • My wish as well my brother and in d mean time let’s allow football to breathe i wonder what any sponsor would think after reading some of these stories that are not all based on fact bc i am sure u would agree that ur initial understanding of the first story would have changed over d pass days after i injected!!! U may still have concerns but the great disbelief and amazement i am sure is gone replaced by a clearer understanding of what actually happened!! And that is just my point all along let d football breath!

    • I can tell you sponsors read more than one source for news and DJW has had positive and not so positive reporting everywhere, including here, and in print.

    • Brian Jordan i will tell you this applause to him for that d majority of those stories would have originated for wired 868 that’s d power of the brand!! This website is considered the gospel when it comes to sport that is y we have to b very careful with we promote!! With great power comes great responsibility!!

  33. Time to separate fact from fiction!

  34. Ballpest was shot on December 27th first and u should call the stadium management Mr Spence or Mr Blake before u cast these allegations!! The stadium field is being rested and prepared for the the world cup qualifier

  35. Lasana Liburd u really surprising me u know

  36. Why did Central choose HCS as its home venue?
Doesn’t the team use Ato Boldon stadium for pro league home matches?
And why did Connection choose Ato Boldon stadium this year? Didn’t they play at HCS last year?

  37. More to come I’m sure. Would be nice to hear Atlanta and Kenwyne’s side of this as well..

  38. Agreed but when you have a meeting and none of the club members show up ….they’re giving him free rein. He’ll keep doing these things because no one holds him accountable 🙁

  39. To be honest, the biggest issue isn’t just that he is W Connection owner. But the fact that he has clearly continued to handle club business since he became TTFA president.
And because there is evidence of him violating the TTFA constitution for his own personal interests.
That makes it near impossible to believe that he is acting in the interests solely of football when he uses his power as football president.

  40. Yeah well they can’t help with their history but if everything is everything and their is deliberate signs of impedimence then Kenwyn have grounds to sue or file any charges needed ….which imo needs to be done with this guy ….. everybody knows what he is now but Noone has stepped to him …so he’s had no resistance …. potentially nothing but potentially a tricky situation. His dealings needs to be exposed …one way or another.

  41. Of course, Central FC might actually have been saved from making a mistake, if they intended to play him without his transfer certificate.
But it is hard to argue the potential conflict of interest here. It is like the Manchester City chairman having final say over Manchester United’s transfer business.

  42. Request for confirmation of the legitmacy of the loan contract is understandable. I think Williams is a pig but their are rules even he can’t bend if you take the right avenues …. knowledge is power.

  43. How much would it cost to have Kenwyne on loan?

  44. Not good at all for local football
