Education Minister Dr Tim Gopeesingh said, in a press statement yesterday, that the country was in the midst of a parenting crisis and also pointed to teacher absenteeism and poor academic performances. He urged parents, teachers and students to pull their socks up post haste.
Or, to paraphrase, do as we don’t do. Over the last two months, the Education Minister supposedly completed 77 of 200 schools in need of repair.
Wired868 sincerely hopes that teachers and students would not use open sewers, unsafe facilities, fungal problems and other school issues left unchecked by the Education Ministry as an excuse for absenteeism and poor academic performance.

Tim really knows how to spin things…for his own benefit. You can’t fool all the people all the time!
Really???? “A parenting crisis”???? Ohhh ok that’s what it is? I thought it was something else, thanks for clearing that up Mr. Dopeesingh.
