Global sprint sensation Usain Bolt has set another unique mark in the build-up to the London 2012 Olympic Games. And it is for the most bewildering break-up line.
Bolt apparently sprinted away from Slovakia-born girlfriend Lubika Slovak, a Jamaican resident, so that he could focus on winning more gold medals for his beloved Jamaica.
“It’s not you honey; it’s the Olympics.”
Unsurprisingly, there was more in the mortar. Many Jamaicans have not warmed to the idea of Bolt settling down with what one letter writer described as a “snowbunny.”
Another writer to the Jamaican Observer offered Bolt two words, “Tiger Woods.”
Slovak’s friends might have responded, “OJ Simpson.”
Wired868 wishes to advise Bolt that patriotism is wonderful but probably won’t deliver a wonderful backrub after a tough season.
