The Ministry of Health (MoH), out of an abundance of caution, advises the public of the voluntary recall of the following products manufactured by Ferrero USA, Inc, Parsippany, New Jersey.  These products were manufactured in a facility where Salmonella Typhimurium was detected.

As a result of the detection, a voluntary recall was initiated by the manufacturer in the USA and published by the USFDA. The UK’s Food Standard Agency (FSA) also advised the public not to consume the products.

The local agent has confirmed that they have not imported any of the recalled products. However, since there may be other independent importers, the MoH is advising the public to avoid purchasing any of the listed products.

Recalled product details:

Warning: Beware these Kinder products…

Some common symptoms that may be exhibited by persons infected with the Salmonella species include:

  • fever, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pains

If you or a member of your family has consumed any of these products or are exhibiting any of the above symptoms, please contact your health care provider.
