Three lucky boys from the Caribbean will have the chance to earn a training camp with coaches from the Chelsea Football Club academy courtesy of the Digicel Kickstart Clinic, which gets underway on Saturday April 26 from 9 am at King George V Park in Woodbrook, Port of Spain.
Saturday’s session at King George V Park serves as a pre-selection for the two-day clinic and boys within the 14-16 age group are invited to register HERE to take part. Thirty boys will move on from this phase to the two-day clinic on May 5 and 6, which will be run by Chelsea academy coaches.
Three stand-outs will be chosen from these 30 players to move on a camp staged by Chelsea coaches, which will be held in Barbados this October.
For the first time, the Digicel Kickstart Clinic will allow girls to take part this year in a day-long session on May 7. The girls, who must also be aged between 14 to 16, will not progress to the Chelsea academy but they are invited to benefit from contact hours with coaches from the England Premier League team.
There will also be sessions for the girls on Saturday April 26 at King George V Park although girls who do not attend can still participate in the clinic on May 7. Players are urged to register promptly to facilitate catering for their appearance.
Editor’s Note: Interested participants between the age of 14 and 16 can access the online registration form at the following link: Digicel Clinic.
Thanks for sharing, I love Chelsea.
