Devorn Jorsling grabbed his first goals of the 2017 season tonight as Defence Force overcame a scare from table-proppers St Ann’s Rangers to win 3-2 at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva.

Jorsling scored twice but the Army/Coast Guard combination still needed a crucial item from Hashim Arcia after a goal each from the Rangers duo of Gerald Meloney and Kathon St Hillaire.
The result pushed Defence Force two places from seventh to fifth although they have played one or two games more than their rivals. Rangers stay bottom although only goal difference separates them from ninth-placed Morvant Caledonia United.
On a personal note, Jorsling stretched his lead atop the Pro League all-time scoring charts to five goals above rival and North East Stars poacher Kerry Baptiste, who got his 150th domestic item in a 1-1 draw against San Juan Jabloteh on Tuesday.
Jorsling, who started the season with 153 career goals but failed to score in Defence Force’s initial nine matches, accepted Baptiste’s challenge. It meant Rangers’ third defeat in their last four games.

Guy St John I know him personally an he doesn’t want to play for tnt
With all respect, Devon Jorsling is a Pro League striker at best
This is Devorn Jorsling’s international record for Trinidad and Tobago:
24 starts-16 substitute appearances-17 goals…
Name the opponents against whom he scored those goals
I can name a lot of strikers with more appearances but less goals ??♂️ would like to hear what u basing ur assessment on
I’m missing some goals… Will have to get back to you on those.
Jomo I. Johnson look at the list Lasana Liburd Lasana Liburdnd you’ll understand my point. He had scored goals only against weak opposition. Compare his record to that of Stern John and you’ll understand my point.
Kyle Blades St Vincent**** (4), Antigua (3), Guyana* (3), Barbados (1), St Kitts* (1), Jamaica (1), St Lucia (1), Haiti* (1)…
The asterisks are for goals in competitive matches.
He can only score against those in front of him…plenty other forwards have tried and failed against those teams also
Jomo I. Johnson he did play against tougher opponent
Kyle, he never played a Gold Cup and he really had limited opportunities against top CONCACAF teams. Obviously the national coaches then were not sure if he could cut it at that level. So I do get your point. But he has scored pretty consistently when he got the chance.
And scoring against Haiti and Jamaica, etc shouldn’t be snuffed at these days especially.
Haiti and Jamaica are worthy opponents!!
Just continue to buss up the nets my prolific goal scorer for life Cool Droggy and when you hit the 200 mark before you finally hang up your goal scoring boots it will be plenty monies for you eh……..BOOM.
Favouritism continues to rule Trini football
The man see Kerry score so he score back. Class, let the games begin lol
And my national coach says he cannot find a striker.
i will never forget Jorsling’s quote on TV news..when he was off to the USA to play with Orlando.. ” I could Score goals anywhere.. i could score goals Underwater “…Love it…
Congrats Cool Droggy DJ
Thanks bro was out of it for a bit but I’m back now bring it on Kerry lol
Nice one Cool Droggy! 🙂
