How yuh could do that to we Live Wire?! What did Marlene do that was so bad? Eh?!
First of all, that damn law too confuffling. Did anybody specifically tell Marlene what she was doing was wrong and advised her to desist? So how she was supposed to know?
Running a constituency office is like learning to drive. You meet a nice fellah at Licensing Office, pay for your license and figure out what to do on the road behind the steering wheel, just like the good Lord intended.
How you mean that example confusing? Once bribe passing, any number could play after that. Dais what I mean.
Listen, Marlene woulda never do anything if she knew it was wrong. After Keithos run his mouth on Kamla’s pick-up side Cabinet—it was like Ali Baba teamed up with Lance Armstrong—you think the Doctor woulda pick a Chief Whip with sticky fingers?!

I bet allyuh don’t even recognise that kind of leadership. Kamla only ever sacked ministers when the police was starting to pay attention or the party was starting to look bad.
To besides, how come allyuh suddenly stop talking about the PP? Why allyuh don’t write about Life Sport?!

And that’s the thing with this country. So many of dem UNC supporters so brainwashed by wanting to see their side in power, by any means necessary, that they not able to logically look at what happening around them and pick right over wrong.

Crime is crime done by white collar or not. We the citizenry must demand more. Not being so complacent. When the police decided to take legal action in a technical way by doing their job on the streets of Trinidad and Tobago. Heads rolled. Why are we so complacent. Does it have anything to do with our watch word Tolerance. Yet we in our hundreds campaigning for election. People power is more that any elected government. We may not see the another revolt in our life time but we need a revolution of minds. They pissing in our faces after we vote them in. If white collar disobeys the laws, we tell our future generation its ok. Somebody gotta pay. It should not be my grandchildren.

I think we need some kind of national offence-justification matrix. Officially established thresholds will eliminate any further confusion on these issues. How many people need to dabble in nepotism before it becomes ok? At what level will “So many people committing murder all d time, wha is me an my one little homicide officer???” become an admissible offence? Forget Procurement legislation: this should be top priority.
